AOCA Green Committee

The AOCA Green Committee shall provide guidance and recommendations to the AOCA Board of Directors on the benefits of environmental compliance issues, awareness, sustainability and social responsibility for AOCA members and for fast lube operators.

Specifically, the Green Committee will:

1. Develop tools and programs to ensure that AOCA members are aware of and practicing proper environmental regulation compliance.
2. Develop information to help members "green" their operations and define the benefits of doing so.
3. Develop information for the industry and for consumers on how fast lubes contribute to environmental awareness.
4. Identify important environmental issues that have an impact on fast lube operators/AOCA members and develop appropriate solutions.
5. Work with other committees, namely Government Affairs and PR and Marketing on issues and awareness.

In 2009, the AOCA Board created a number of new committees. They are:
