AOCA PR and Marketing Committee

The PR and Marketing Committee provides guidance and recommendations to the AOCA Board on marketing, communications and public relations opportunities for AOCA, AOCA members and the fast lube industry.

Specifically, the PR and Marketing Committee will:

Develop effective, and where possible, measurable PR programs to promote the fast lube industry generally and the AOCA members specifically.

Develop programs and information to help members with their marketing and promotional efforts.

Develop programs to promote AOCA, its brand, training programs and their value to the industry at large and the driving public.

Provide content guidance to AOCA on communications activities and products.

Enhance awards and recognition of key people and programmatic contributions.

The following are a number of potential activities for the PR and Marketing Committee:

Develop new PR programs, designed to highlight consumer benefit of fast lube industry and services from AOCA members: Suggest "Keep Your Car Longer" and "Five Reasons to Use AOCA Members".

Continue to work with PR partnerships, including the groundwater association and environmental issues.

Develop and implement a campaign to encourage members to use AOCA membership and AOCA training to gain a competitive marketing edge.

Produce information to help members define, create or implement their own marketing, PR and communications strategies.
