AOCA Best Practices Committee



The Best Practices Committee shall provide guidance and recommendations to the AOCA Board of Directors on the development of vetted, consensus-based practices in the fast lube business.

Specifically, the Best Practices Committee will:
  1. Identify processes within the fast lube operation appropriate for a best practice.
  2. Work with the Education Committee to incorporate best practices into AOCA training programs.
  3. Work with PR and Marketing Committee to promote and demonstrate the value of best practices.
  4. Identify existing resources and organizations from which to draw pertinent information.
The following are a number of potential activities the Best Practices Committee:
  • Review current procedures documents and convert appropriate material to best practices.
  • Review current training programs to incorporate best practices when developed.
  • Indentify and work with existing groups on best practice information, including the Motorist Assurance Program.
  • Work with PR and Marketing Committee to communicate the value of best practices to members and to the driving public to increase consumer confidence.
