AOCA Research Committee

The Research Committee provides guidance and recommendations to the AOCA Board of Directors on data and research initiatives from AOCA to provide valuable information to members and to the industry.

Specifically, the Research Committee will:

1. Study the feasibility of launching a research/data/benchmarking project that would provide important data and analysis to members in managing their operations.
2. Identify third-party groups with whom to work to further data and research initiatives.
3. Continually work to make AOCA a valuable source of important business information.

The following are a number of potential activities for the Research Committee:

• Study, design and implement impactful data and analysis tools and benefits for AOCA members and the fast lube industry.
• Study the feasibility of maintaining the Cost of Doing Business report as a benefit to the association and industry.
• Study feasibility of combining AOCA efforts, such as the Cost of Doing Business Report, with other existing sources, such as the NOLN Fast Lube Operators Survey, if it is agreeable to both entities.
