Education & Training for the Fast Lube Industry
AOCA provides courses and seminars for lube technicians, fast lube managers and owner/operators. All of our programs have been specifically designed for the fast lube industry with input from industry leaders and automotive educators. AOCA programs are affordable for everyone with substantial discounts available to members.
AOCA offers some of its educational programs via the internet. To utilize our online programs, your company must be a subscriber to the AOCA e-Learning system. Lube Technician Academy
Online
 AOCA's Online Technician Academy provides the training your employees need to keep your customers coming back. This engaging online program will keep your employees attention. The information is presented in short segments with pictures, diagrams and sounds. Topics covered include customer service, safety, products and services, and the roles and responsibilities of the hood technician, lube technician, the courtesy technician, and the greeter/service writer. Textbook System (Version 2.0)
Not set up for online training? AOCA's traditional, textbook version of the Lube Technician Academy has become the industry standard for training those front line people. This complete training program is a "Hands On" experience for these very important ambassadors of the industry. The kit includes a Trainers Guide, Technician Manual and Student Workbook. A single kit can be used to train any number of employees. When they have completed the program, you can purchase testing materials for just $50 for each new trainee.
Fast Lube Manager Seminars
 For Fast Lube Managers, your team leaders, AOCA offers a series of two-day training classes in various locations around the country. The seminars are presented by experienced fast lube operators who share their knowledge and expertise with the students. Upon registering for the course, managers receive the AOCA Manager Training Manual to review prior to attending. Some of the topics covered are leadership, training & team building, finding & hiring the best people, service standards, advertising, and safety & regulatory compliance.

Annual Convention & Fast Lube Expo
For fast lube operators and their employees, AOCA offers a full range of education, training and networking at our Annual Convention & Fast Lube Expo, including our New Owners Boot Camp, an outstanding full-day session designed for those new to the fast lube business, and a special Experienced Owners Program for those in the business for 5+ years.
AOCA Conventions include approximately 20 hours of seminars and workshops covering important industry topics. The exhibits continue the educational program by introducing lube operators to the latest products and services to improve business performance.
